Qtones has an original service called SMS text messaging where you can join a community of other Qtones users and send and receive text messages from total strangers as a way to meet new people. It costs $3.99 for every 10 outgoing messages, but you get the first 10 for free.

Qtones has many unique ringtone categories including Greek, Father's Day, Names, Soundtracks, Spring Break, Winter Holidays and many more. Qtones offers most of its ringtones in polyphonic format and sometimes it was hard to recognize some of the songs because of poor renditions.

The only form of help that Qtones offers is email support and that is for people who didn't receive their download. There is no general support for questions or a FAQ section.

This service has only one plan for $9.99 a month that will give you up to 15 ringtones or you can purchase single downloads for $1.99 each.

If you can't find a ringtone throughout Qtones entire database, they have a special email address where you can submit a request for the ringtone and they will try to make it available for you as soon as possible.

Qtones offers ringtones compatible with T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Cingular, Sprint, Dobson and Cellular One.
